NVB Organizational Banking

The Organizational Banking Account is designed for non-profit groups. This account type allows up to 500 debits and deposited items each to clear with a statement cycle at no charge. Additional items over the included limit are $0.15 each. A monthly service charge of $5 will be imposed if the account balance falls below $100, with no activity for 12 months. The Organizational Banking account uses digital bank statements, and paper statements are available for a $4 monthly fee.

NVB Commercial Banking

For high volume commercial customers, we offer our Commercial Banking Account. The $0.15 fee per check or ACH debit item, $0.10 fee per deposited paper item, $0.05 fee per deposited ACH item charges, and $14.95 monthly service charge are all offset by an earnings credit! This earnings credit is calculated by the average collected balance.

Our Positive Pay service deters check fraud by matching checks issued on a business checking account against those presented for payment. We match the check number, dollar amount, and account number provided by the commercial client. An email notification is sent if a discrepancy occurs, asking for your authorization to pay or reject the item. Nodaway Valley Bank also offers ACH Positive Pay, which provides the same service for ACH debits and credits.

Online Deposit

Your time is precious. Online Deposit through Nodaway Valley Bank saves you time (and expense!) by allowing you to scan paper checks from your business and submit them for credit to an NVB transaction account.
